Central Valley Music Academy

The Central Valley Music Academy includes instruction in Flute, Music Composition, and Harp. Students of all ages, and levels of experience are welcome to contact our master instructors, listed below, to begin a fun, rewarding, and beneficial music study experience.

There is a lot of research that proves that the study of music has many benefits for people of all ages, including better academic achievement in nearly every measure, including GPA, reading comprehension, math and language skills, recall, memory and even IQ scores. Music teaches discipline, patience, and concentration. It improves motor and social skills, and brings relaxation, mood stabilization, and feelings of joy to the student. Music is good for the brain too! It activates both the left and right sides of your brain at the same time, and activation of both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory.

Musical instruments can be learned at any age, so now is the best time for you to learn something new. Our instructors can help you with the process of renting or purchasing an instrument, if you don't already have one. They can also help you with any accessories, and music required to study. Already play the flute or harp, but you are looking to expand and improve on the skills you already have? Our experienced, professional, conservatory-trained  master teachers can help you achieve your musical goals.

Whether you want to play for school, play for your own enjoyment, for therapy, or to become a music professional, we can help you achieve you goals. Contact our instructors by clicking on the links next to your instructor of interest. We look forward to hearing from you and setting up a consultation, either in person, or online.
